THE KIGOULES ARE HERE

Categories: New Products, News

So, finally, here it is… the Kigoule! As you might have guessed from the name, the Kigoule is a raincoat which fuses the loveable characteristics of a Kigu with the functionality of a rainproof pac-a-mac. Staying true to the values that have guided Kigu from the very start – quality, design, individuality and most importantly fun – these animal rain ponchos are the first in what we hope will become a long line of new Kigu products: all designed right here in our East London studio.

Available in five styles; the Hippo, Owl Parrot, Frog and Duck, the Kigoule has a traditional poncho silhouette, but is in no way disposable. We’ve used only the best quality, hardwearing materials, to ensure years of use, breathability and highly effective water resistance.

Attention to detail has been the driving force behind the product development. Each animal’s face has been lovingly put together in a crisp appliqué (stitched on, not printed) style and the utmost care has been taken to ensure all aspects of the pattern capture the spirit of the species we’ve chosen to represent: from stand up googly eyes on the Frog, to a big round belly on the Hippo.

The Kigoule is lightweight and features a large pocket on its chest, into which it folds, making it super easy to carry around when you’re not wearing it. Once packed away, a Kigoule takes up no more room than a was bag so will easily squeeze in the most over-packed of festival rucksacks.

We would like to say a massive thank you to everybody who has worn a Kigu or come to one of our parties over the past half-decade: we never thought we would make it this far, but we have, and we couldn’t be happier about it! We’ve got a lot of cool things in the pipeline, the Kigoule being the first. We just hope you like them as much as we do!

You can get your Kigoule now from the Kigu shop for £29.99. And remember, like a Kigu, a Kigoule is for life!
