What is a Kigoule?

A Kigoule is a one-size-fits-all, rainproof, fold-away poncho which fuses the animally characteristics of a Kigu with the functionality of a pac-a-mac. Perfect for festivals, cycling and all other wet weather activities, getting wet is going to be a whole lot more fun than ever before!

Kigoules look amazing, but they're also very functional. We've used a high quality, durable, rainproof (to over 10,000mm) and breathable (to over 5,000g) fabric. They feature a tapered hem which fastens at the side with two pairs of stainless steel poppers.

Each Kigoule has a large pocket on its chest into which it easily folds when not in use. Once packed away, a Kigoule takes up no more space than a small washbag and weighs much much less, making it small enough to squeeze into the most bulging of festival rucksacks.

Every Kigoule is based on an animal, and as well as individual features such as a colourful feather pattern on the Parrot and stand up googly eyes on the Frog, their faces have been lovingly designed to best capture the character of the animal that they represent. All the facial features are appliquéd (stitched not printed) onto the hoods because we think they look much nicer that way.

We have worked hard to create a non-disposable, high quality and most importantly fun product that will keep you dry as a bone, come rain or shine, for years to come. We hope you like it!
